Carlo Erba Pharmaceutical Plant is located on an area of 6.500 m2 in Topkapı-Istanbul. It is the first factory with a liophilization unit in Turkey and has still the highest-capacity liophilization unit in the country, where mostly anticancer drugs are produced. Carlo Erba, working in compliance with GMP and GLP norms, produces injectable products, eye drops and ointments, all under sterile conditions. This plant also houses tablet, powder, capsule, ointment and syrup departments. Besides, packaging of 25 million boxes are realized annually.

In compliance with PIC regulations for the production of injectable beta-lactams, sterile departments built in a separate area are equipped with compact production lines and high capacity packaging machines.
